Our Cleaning Process and Surface-Care Standards
A professional cleaning plan starts with the work and the material, not a promise to use the strongest chemical. These are the practical principles behind an agreed Suny’s CleanWorks cleaning scope.
Confirm Scope and Access
Identify the rooms, tasks, restricted areas and responsible contact. Clarify furniture movement, supply responsibilities and any delicate objects. We do not use access to a property as permission to enter every room or handle every item.
Use the Right Method for the Surface
Products, equipment and moisture levels should fit the material and manufacturer instructions. A compatibility test can be needed for an unfamiliar finish or fabric. Strong acids, abrasives or steam are not automatic upgrades.
Keep Products and Tools Appropriate to the Task
Use labeled products as directed and do not mix cleaners. Separate tools used in restroom work from those used on kitchen or food-related surfaces. Follow applicable product precautions and prevent unnecessary exposure of people and pets.
Distinguish Cleaning From Disinfection
Cleaning removes soil. If surface disinfection is part of the agreement, the product’s intended use and instructions govern it. A fragrance, foam or shiny appearance is not proof of disinfection.
Review the Agreed Work
Compare the result with the selected tasks and discuss any area needing attention. Report pre-existing damage or a condition cleaning cannot resolve. This process is not a guarantee of stain removal, sterile conditions or restoration of a worn finish.
